Pfennig Wildlife Museum's Image

Opened in 1994, it is the largest individual wildlife collection in North Dakota with approximately 175 animal specimens from all around the world. Original owners Helmuth Pfennig and his wife traveled all over the world on their hunting trips including Russia and Australia. He started his collection with small North Dakota animals, then ventured into Canadian animals, eventually ending up in Africa. He only shot was he had plans to mount and collect.
