Black Bear
is from Talkeetna, Alaska area. The pilot dropped Helmuth off on a riverbank, where he had to spend the whole night by himself , waiting for the bear.

Mountain Lion
During this hunt, there was a lot of snow. Pfennigs walked with snowshoes, trailing the Cougar. When they finally encountered him, he was in a tree.

Honey Badger
This badger also liked to raid the kitchens. If Pfennigs heard any loud noise from the kitchen in the morning, they knew a badger had gotten in again.

Ocean Bear
This Ocean Bear was living in Invik, Alaska. He met Helmuth Pfennig in 1994. The family had to spend many long hour days in snowmobiles hunting this bear.
