Beulah knows youth are the future of every community and has invested in local education. Beulah School District #27 is the public school district in the area, with one elementary school, one middle school and one high school. Small class sizes are the norm in Beulah, with an average of 13.4 students per teacher, compared to the national average of nearly 17.

Post-secondary options in the region offer students the opportunity to prepare for their futures. Bismarck State College is North Dakota’s Polytechnic Institution and a Top 150 Aspen Prize winner for Community College Excellence in 2021. Williston State College offers associate degrees and certificates in general, vocational, technical education and workforce training programs. Nearby Dickinson State University was North Dakota’s first dual mission institution in 2018, expanding its educational offerings beyond bachelor’s degree programs to that necessary to support workforce advancement in the growing region. Specific programming includes continuing education, certifications, associate degrees, graduate degrees and training for community needs like Commercial Driver’s Licensing and Certified Nursing Assistants.
