3 Jul 2024

July is National Park and Recreation Month. It is dedicated “to promote building strong, vibrant, and resilient communities” by highlighting local parks and recreational centers while recognizing the staff and administration that help maintain them throughout America. This year’s theme is “Where You Belong (to celebrate) the many ways park and recreation professionals … foster a sense of belonging … by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, essential services …, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connections.”

Beulah’s Parks and Recreational Offerings

The City of Beulah agrees with fostering a sense of belonging and stands by celebrating its parks and recreation professionals. Most of Beulah’s parks are less than an acre in size and are located in residential communities. They are essential to high-quality living. Without the dedicated workers, Beulah’s parks and recreational facilities would not be the fun filled places that they are. The City of Beulah THANKS YOU for your efforts!

Beulah’s Parks and Rec Dept provides opportunities and events for community members, visitors, and guests to enjoy themselves while building strong bonds.

Support Beulah’s Children

While registration is closed for many activities, support Beulah’s children by attending one of the baseball/softball games offered through Beulah Parks and Rec.

At Wolf Complex, your game options are:

  • Fastpitch Softball with players ages 11 - 14
  • Tball Baseball with players ages 5 - 6 (how adorable)
  • Cal Ripken Rookies Baseball with players ages 7 - 9
  • Cal Ripken Majors Baseball with players ages 9 - 13

At Goldman Field, located inside McKenzie Park, your game options are:

  • Babe Ruth Baseball with players ages 13 - 15
  • Legion Baseball with players ages 15 - 18

Support in all forms goes a long way in positive child development.
