Progress is happening in Beulah - be a part of it today!

Beulah is proud to announce that Talon Metals and Westmoreland Mining have signed a major agreement to bring the Beulah Minerals Processing Facility to life. This groundbreaking project will transform a former coal site into a national hub for processing critical minerals—creating jobs, strengthening our local economy, and positioning Beulah as a leader in U.S. energy and defense supply chains.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, May 28, with an impressive gathering of state and federal leaders, industry innovators, and community partners. Among those present were Governor Kelly Armstrong, Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer, and Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak, who joined local officials to celebrate this milestone for Beulah and the region.

This project marks a turning point for our community, turning Beulah’s rich legacy in energy production toward a future that supports the nation’s critical mineral needs.

The Beulah Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of Beulah welcome Talon Metals and their partners to the community.
