CITY OF BEULAH, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND BEULAH CVB ANNOUNCE MY TOWN FILMING IN BEULAH

BEULAH, N.D. – The City of Beulah, City of Beulah Economic Development, and Beulah Convention & Visitors Bureau are excited to announce that the My Town documentary production crew will be in Beulah from Wednesday, September 2, through Friday, September 4, filming stories that showcase what makes our community a great place to live, work, raise a family, and build a future.

The My Town documentary series highlights communities across America through authentic storytelling. The Beulah project is a collaborative effort between City of Beulah Economic Development, and the Beulah Convention & Visitors Bureau, with the CVB providing funding support for the project.

During their visit, the production team will capture the people, places, and industries that define Beulah. Filming will highlight our coal and energy industries, schools, students, local businesses, agriculture, outdoor recreation, healthcare, public safety, housing, and the exceptional quality of life enjoyed by Beulah residents. The crew will conduct interviews with local business owners, families, educators, students, community leaders, and city officials to tell Beulah’s story through the voices of the people who call it home.

The community is invited to attend a special My Town presentation on Friday, September 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Beulah High School Gymnasium. The production team will introduce the My Town documentary series, share the vision for the Beulah episode, and explain how the community can play an important role in showcasing everything that makes Beulah unique.

The week will conclude with the filming of the Beulah Miners’ home varsity football game on Friday evening, September 4. The production crew will capture the excitement of Friday Night Lights in Beulah as the community comes together to cheer on the Miners. Complimentary admission to the game and fireworks is being provided by the Beulah Convention & Visitors Bureau. Residents are encouraged to wear Beulah colors, fill the stands, and help showcase the pride, enthusiasm, and community spirit that make our hometown so special.

“This documentary is an incredible opportunity to share Beulah’s story with a national audience,” said Beaver Brinkman, Economic Development/Operations Director. “We invite everyone to participate whether by attending the community presentation, welcoming the film crew, supporting our local businesses, or cheering on the Miners. Together, we can showcase the people, values, and hometown pride that make Beulah an outstanding place to call home.”

Following filming, the documentary will move into post-production and is expected to premiere during the first quarter of 2027 as part of the My Town documentary series. Once released, the documentary will serve as a long- term marketing asset, showcasing Beulah to audiences across the country while supporting economic development, workforce recruitment, tourism, and community pride.

Come celebrate what makes our town truly special!
