Two local agencies received Rural Community grants from Farm Credit of Mandan and AgriBank FCB recently.
The Mercer County Ambulance Services received $8,250 while the Women’s Action Resource Center in Beulah received a $5,000 grant.
“Many non-profit and first responder organizations have been able to receive funds for vital needs within our community because of Farm Credit’s Rural Community Grant Fund,” said Steven Finsaas, senior loan officer and branch manager for Farm Credit Services of Mandan’s Beulah branch, who presented the checks to Ambulance Services Manager Marcie Sailer and to WARC Director Gloria Olheiser. “The program has given back nearly $500,000 to groups within this local area.”
